Ekhomu obtained her undergraduate degree in Social Science from Florida State University, where she was also a dedicated member of the university's women’s basketball team. During her time on the FSU Women’s Basketball team, she developed a passion for helping to address sports injuries and more broadly orthopedic injuries. Specifically, she has a passion for innovative products for women’s sports and orthopedic injuries. Building on this foundation, she furthered my education by earning an M.B.A. from Florida A & M University. This advanced degree equipped me with the necessary business acumen and management skills to excel in the competitive corporate world.

Dr. Capehart's academic journey began at the renowned Florida A & M University (FAMU) FAMU-FSU College of Engineering, where he pursued his undergraduate studies. During this time, he demonstrated exceptional aptitude and passion for engineering, leading to his decision to further his education in the field. Driven by a deep curiosity about robotic systems, he went on to pursue a doctoral degree with a specific focus on variable stiffness robotic systems.

Dr. Capehart currently serves as a Design Engineering Consultant, specializing in electromechanical and mechatronic projects.
